BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Tour Starts Sunday |
|
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will return to the road for the first time in three years Sunday with the start of their Wrecking Ball tour in Atlanta. This will be a different E Street Band than the last edition that was out in 2009, with a five-piece horn section replacing the late Clarence Clemons and the addition of a percussionist to the lineup. Guitarist Nils Lofgren admits that it's been "strange" not standing next to Clemons for the first time in 27 years. Most Springsteen experts predict the tour will have a more static setlist to start than the 2009 tour. A large selection of Wrecking Ball songs are expected as well as tunes from Nebraska and The Ghost of Tom Joad that fit in with well with the new album's theme. They also predict more songs from Springsteen's first three albums with the horn section in tow. |
