"As expected, Van Halen will release a new album and tour in 2012. Their new label, Interscope Records, sent an email out overnight announcing a February 7th release date and a title of The Future.
There's no tour dates announced yet, but the band's website has a trailer promoting the jaunt saying, "First tickets on sale January 10th."
The Future will be the first Van Halen album since Three, the one album they released in 1998 with Gary Cherone on vocals. The album is the first length release with David Lee Roth since 1984."
