Ringo Starr says he has no interest in cooperating with New York Post writer Michael Starr (no relation) on a biography about the drummer.

Ringo Starr says he has no interest in cooperating with New York Post writer Michael Starr (no relation) on a biography about the drummer. Ringo says, "There is an unauthorized biography being written...and I want my friends and fans to know it has nothing to do with me. I'm not participating with it at all." The book is scheduled to be published in 2015.

Ringo tells us he has no plans to write a memoir, saying he writes about his life in his songs instead. Recent autobiographical tunes include "The Other Side of Liverpool" and its predecessor, "Liverpool 8."

Ringo is working on a new album.
