Jay-Z and Beyonce's newborn daughter Blue Ivy may be the youngest person ever featured on a song to make a Billboard chart, but she's not the youngest person ever to record. That distinction belongs to Taro Hart, the son of Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. His heartbeat was recorded inside his mother's womb and is featured on Mickey's 1989 album Music to Be Born By, which was just re-released by Smithsonian Folkways as part of The Mickey Hart Collection. Taro turned 29 on January 13th. |
