GREAT WHITE: Ex-Singer Sues Old Bandmates |
|
Ex-Great White singer Jack Russell has filed a lawsuit against his former bandmates, claiming that they fired him and stole the group's name while he was recovering from surgery to repair a perforated bowel in 2011. Russell's suit says the release of Great White's new album Elation -- which is due out in May and features new singer Terry Ilous -- "will irretrievably alter the discography of the band, tarnishing and diluting the trademark, reputation and goodwill that plaintiff has developed over 30 years." Russell is touring with his own band called Jack Russell's Great White. |

gzucker3722 - Jack Russell shouldn't be so petty. Wasn't Jack Russell "Eddie" on "Frasier" and, more recently Jack Russell was "Uggie" in "The Artist." It appears that Jack Russell has been pretty busy and sucessful on his own. He should throw his old bandmates a bone and stop dogging them with legal action.
