LOLLAPALOOZA: Heading to the Holy Land

Tel Aviv, Israel, will become the third international location for the Lollapalooza festival next August. It was announced this evening (Saturday) that Israel's second largest city will join Chicago, Sao Paulo, Brazil and Santiago, Chile as a Lollapalooza site. It will be the country's first international music festival and will take place in Yargon Park from August 20th to 22nd, 2013. It will run in midweek in order to avoid falling on the Jewish Sabbath, which goes from sundown Friday through sundown Saturday. The dates for Lollapalooza in 2013 are:
• March 29-31 | São Paulo, Brazil
• April 6-7 | Santiago, Chile
• August 2-4 | Chicago, US
• August 20-22 | Tel Aviv, Israel
