Films featuring Ringo Starr, Roger Daltrey and The Dave Clark Five are coming to DVD in September.
1975's Lisztomania, directed by Ken Russell (who also directed The Who's Tommy), is the story of conductor Franz Liszt. Daltrey stars, with Ringo as the Pope. Former Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman also makes an appearance.
The other film is 1965's Having a Wild Weekend starring The Dave Clark Five in a film similar to -- but not nearly as successful -- as The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night.
