ELTON: Back to Broadway?
Elton John has had three successful Broadway productions -- The Lion King, which is still running, Aida and Billy Elliot -- and now he's working on another.
His partner, David Furnish, says, "We are planning to open a children's musical on Broadway." Furnish is most likely referring to a musical adaptation of Animal Farm, based on George Orwell's novel. This project has been in development since roughly 2008. Also in the works is Rocketman, the bio-pic on Elton's life, which Furnish says will start filming at the end of the year.
Elton and Furnish's new Beverly Hills, California home is featured in the March issue of Architectural Digest. The home was decorated by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, star of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators.
