Scientists have named a a blood-sucking Caribbean parasite after Bob Marley. Despite the implications, the scientist who named the species Gnathia marleyi doesn't think it's an insult to the reggae legend. Paul Sikkel of Arkansas State University tells the Los Angeles Times, "I named this species, which is truly a natural wonder, after Marley because of my respect and admiration for Marley's music. Plus, this species is uniquely Caribbean, as was Marley."
