The man who murdered John Lennon in 1980 will have his seventh parole hearing this week.
Mark David Chapman, the man who murdered John Lennon in 1980, will have his seventh bi-annual parole hearing this week. Every previous request for parole has been denied.
A decision by the three-person parole board regarding his continued incarceration could be announced by the end of the week.
Chapman, who is now 57 years old, was recently transferred from Attica to Wende Correctional Facility in western New York State, near Buffalo. He is serving 20 years to life.
