DEEP PURPLE: One More on the Way

Deep Purple will stay off the road this summer so they can continue writing and recording their new album. Singer Ian Gillan says, "We know we will disappoint some of our fans this summer [by not touring]. However, we look forward very much to our autumn and winter tour, and continuing our worldwide tour with our new album in 2013."

Purple's last album was 2005's Rapture of the Deep. They start a tour of Canada on February 2nd in St. John's, Newfoundland.
