Yes has yet to comment on their nomination for induction next year into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Former singer Jon Anderson told us how he felt immediately after the announcement was made, and now, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, arguably the other former member who is most missed along with Anderson, has spoken to us exclusively about the honor.
Like many of their fans, he feels the honor is long overdue and that perhaps the Hall needs to relax the eligibility rule a bit, which is 25 years after your first recording, so he and many of his fellow aging classic rock acts can enjoy it a little longer. The Class of 2014 should be announced by early December.
Wakeman is resurrecting his Journey to the Centre of the Earth next April and May in England and is working on plans to bring it to the U.S.
