R.E.M.: Old Bandmates Play Together

Ex-R.E.M. members Peter Buck and Mike Mills will be on stage together for the first time since the band's split today at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. They'll be part of the group performing Big Star's Third album in its entirety at the Paramount Theater with a roster of guest vocalists. The performance is being held before a screening of the documentary Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me.
