Singer-songwriter Willie Nile brought his American Ride tour to London on Tuesday night at the legendary 100 Club. A neighbor of Lou Reed in New York's Greenwich Village, Nile talked about seeing Lou a little over a week before his passing at a book signing and then did "Sweet Jane" in his honor.

After the show Nile was thrilled that he had just performed on the same stage as The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and many other U.K. music legends. Nile is on tour in Europe through early December with a show in Nottingham, England Wednesday night.
