Is Phil Collins having a change of heart about returning to the music industry, and in particular Genesis?

Though he never officially retired, Collins has been laying low with some health issues, which affect the nerves in his hands, making it difficult to hold his drum sticks. He also chose to stay at home in Switzerland to raise his two sons from his third marriage, which, like the previous two, ended in divorce. That wife, Orianne, has re-married and relocated to Miami, and Collins has taken an apartment in New York City. As a result, he says, "I have started thinking about doing new stuff. Maybe playing some shows again, even with Genesis. Everything is possible.”

Collins last reunited with Genesis for a 2007 tour, and he has not performed since 2010 in support of his Goin' Back album, a collection of Motown covers.

Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the landmark Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, and there has been talk over the past 10 years about a reunion
