R.E.M.: A Sort of Reunion

R.E.M. fans that were at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Friday night got to see the former bandmates hang out together. The occasion was a show by The Baseball Project, a band led by R.E.M. touring member Scott McCaughey. The group's lineup includes Peter Buck on bass and Friday night Mike Mills sat in on keyboards. Michael Stipe snuck in after the show started and went up to talk to his former bandmates after their set was over, causing numerous fans to start snapping away with their cell phone cameras.
