Al Jardine has taken a stand on Mike Love's decision to return to a pared-down Beach Boys tour lineup without him, Brian Wilson or David Marks.
On his Facebook page. the voice of "Help Me Rhonda" has posted a link to an online petition urging Love to abandon his new plan. Calling it "the right thing to do," the petition begins, "In order to preserve the validity of The Beach Boys as a whole, and not as a money-saving, stripped-down version...we ask you to re-instate the three other members to the touring group for your final years performing."
