STYX: Dennis Would Come Back, JY Doesn't Think So |

| Ex-Styx singer-keyboardist Dennis DeYoung would be open to reuniting with the band he left 13 years ago. He tells ClassicRockRevisited.comthat he'd gladly get back together with Tommy Shaw and James "JY" Young if they asked. DeYoung adds, "I have never ever said one bad thing about the music that we created... I think the music we created is something to be proud of."
But don't count on a reunion anytime soon. JY tells Guitar International, "Dennis...really went off in this musical-theater thing, and that was clearly his priority. Tommy and I play in a rock and roll band. We want to tour a lot... We don't want to take time out after waiting 13 years to get this thing back together after breaking up in '83." |
