BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD: Furay's a Good Friend

This was supposed to be the year Richie Furay was going to be on tour with his old band, Buffalo Springfield. But Neil Young's decision to record and go out with Crazy Horse instead put an end to that.

Furay's misfortune ended up being good fortune for Denver-based singer-songwriter and Furay's friend, Chris Daniels, as Furay lent his distinctive vocals to Daniels' new album, Better Days.

"He's the voice of 'Kind Woman' and all of these great songs that the Buffalo Springfield did," says Daniels. "So, he sort of opens his mouth and it's like, 'Whoa, that's that noise man..." Daniels has a holiday show coming up on December 22nd in Denver, and Furay will be part of the next session of the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas in January
