Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform during events outside of the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will take time out from their tour to do a show during the events outside of the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida on August 26th. They will be part of the fundraising event Citizens Helping Heroes presents Southern Tribute Four Honoring America’s Heroes at the American Action Network Pavilion at Liberty Plaza. Also performing during the convention are country singer Trace Adkins on August 28th and Kid Rock on the 29th.

This Friday, Skynyrd will perform on FOX & Friends' All American Concert Series during the 8 a.m. ET hour. The show is open to the public on the corner West 48th St and 6th Avenue in midtown Manhattan with free food from Famous Dave’s BBQ.

Skynyrd is in Glen Allen, Virginia on Wednesday.
