Paul McCartney and Bono were among the celebrities who met with Queen Elizabeth Wednesday in London during a Diamond Jubilee celebration of the arts at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. "It's always wonderful meeting her, she's great... I'm a big fan," says Macca, who will perform at her Diamond Jubilee -- 60 years on the throne -- celebration next month in London. Bono paid tribute to Her Majesty, praising her for her trip to his native Ireland last year, the first for a British monarch since 1911. Also on hand were actresses Judi Dench and Joan Collins, and singer Shirley Bassey. |
