Rocktoberfest!

Gene Simmons to kick off the week-long Rocktoberfest at L.A. Live in Los Angeles Monday night.

Gene Simmons will be home in Los Angeles Monday night to help kick off the inaugural Rocktoberfest at L.A. Live downtown. He'll be joined by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck for the start of the week-long festivities. The event was created by Simmons for his Rock & Brews restaurant and will act as a tribute to the two centuries-old Bavarian tradition (Oktoberfest), with a schedule of nightly events at L.A. Live through October 21st.

To kick off the event, Simmons will lead a "celebrity jam" at Monday's opening gala that's expected to feature members of Whitesnake and Guns N' Roses, among others. The gala will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a group that helps severely injured service members. Thursday was also recently announced as KISS Army Night, with a second jam that may include other KISS members.
