ROLLING STONES: New Doc, Richards Solo LP Too

The Rolling Stones won't be touring this year, but they do have quite a few projects due this year.

Director Brett Morgen, who made the Robert Evans documentary The Kid Stays in the Picture, has a Stones film in the works covering their five-decade history. He tells Rolling Stone, "We've been looking under every rock going through their archives. It will be music never heard before, and I've conducted 50-plus hours of interviews so far. By the time we're done, they will be the most extensive group interviews they've ever done."

Keith Richards is working on a new solo album with producer and drummer Steve Jordan. Richards says, "We're not rushing it, 'cause there's no need to. But I'm quite surprised how much stuff is coming out of it."
