Peter Gabriel says he'll take a year off after his Back to Front tour. Gabriel says he's been planning on taking a "sabbatical" with his family for many years and that this time he's sticking to it. Gabriel tells Rolling Stone, "We will be trying not to spend too much time in airports, at the same time visiting quite a few different countries and places of natural or scientific interest. We're going to be following up on some of the interesting invitations I've had over the years and never had the time to follow through on."

Gabriel plans to resume work on his next studio album in September 2013, which will make it 11 years since he released an album of new original material.
