BLACK SABBATH: Has Ward Been Fired?

Sharon Osbourne has reportedly fired Bill Ward from the Black Sabbath reunion and replaced him with Tommy Clufetos from Ozzy's band. Ward opted to stay home in Los Angeles and not join the band in England, where the original lineup is recording their first studio album in 33 years, because he felt the contract he was asked to sign wasn't fair. A spokesman for Sharon and the band was unavailable for comment.

Meantime, an effort is under way on Facebook to send a message to Sharon and the band that it won't be a reunion without Ward. It reads, "Here's how it should be -- the four original members of Black Sabbath, together and smiling!"

Sabbath will tour this summer, and the album is scheduled for release in the fall.
