STYX: Oh Mama

Tommy Shaw of Styx is mourning the loss of his mother. 85-year old Mildred Uline Shaw of Montgomery, Alabama passed away last Wednesday. Shaw tells us, "She was an amazing woman." In addition to Tommy, she is survived by a daughter, two sons, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton E. Shaw. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Baptist East Medical Center Outpatient Clinic or to the American Cancer Society.

No dates on the Styx tour with REO Speedwagon and Ted Nugent were affected.
