SANTANA: Going Back to Vegas |

Carlos Santana and his Santana band will return to Las Vegas for another residency, this time at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel. An Intimate Evening With Santana: Greatest Hits Live -- Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow will get underway May 2nd, with 16 dates through June 3rd. This will be followed by runs from September 12th through the 23rd, and October 31st through November 11th. Tickets go on sale March 3rd. A portion of the proceeds will go to Santana's Milagro Foundation, which supports underrepresented and vulnerable children and youth in the areas of arts, education and health. And another contribution will be made to The International House of Blues Foundation, which supports youth music and arts programs.
Carlos says, "I call it a living laboratory. We play the beginning [of a set] and we play the end, but in the middle, we're going to create some experimentation so you can witness a backward flip into the unknown. In other words, there's no set list in the middle. We will create something so you can just close your eyes and go on a journey with us." |
