BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: Meet Him in September in Atlantic City?

New Jersey governor Chris Christie is reaching out to fellow Garden State resident Bruce Springsteen to help Atlantic City, New Jersey by asking him to perform at the new Revel casino on Labor Day weekend. Christie is hopeful that the new casino, which wouldn't have been completed without state tax incentives, will help revive the struggling East Coast gambling town -- and that Springsteen, who once wrote a song called "Atlantic City," will be a big draw. A spokeswoman for Springsteen was unavailable for comment. Beyonce will open the casino on Memorial Day weekend.

Springsteen broke out four more tour premieres Monday night in Boston. They were "Thundercrack," "Jackson Cage" into "She's the One," and "Raise Your Hand" with a guest slot from a hometown singer, Peter Wolf from the J. Geils Band.

Springsteen starts a two-night run in Philadelphia tonight.
