FLEETWOOD MAC: Mick Told to Keep Mouth Shut
Christine McVie's absence from Fleetwood Mac may be a bone of contention within the band.
As they get set to start rehearsing for their tour this month in Los Angeles, they will, as we've reported, once again be without McVie, who retired from the band in 1998. But that doesn't mean she isn't wanted -- apparently Mick Fleetwood has been told not to ask her to re-join. He says, “I’ve had to agree to stop asking her.”
Fleetwood told us he was hoping Christine would be visiting him and her ex-husband, Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie in Hawaii this month before rehearsals. The tour starts on April 4th in Columbus, Ohio.
