In 2010, Eric Clapton ordered a custom-made Ferrari -- the 458 Italia model outfitted with the higher end V12 engine used in the company's 599 GTB Fiorano, giving it an additional 40 horsepower for a total of 620. Well the car is finally done and has been delivered to Clapton with a price tag of $4.6-million dollars and specialty license plate -- SP12 EPC (Eric Patrick Clapton). A few years back Clapton was ticketed by French police for driving his Ferrari Enzo at 145 miles per hour Among the other musicians who drive Ferraris are Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, Pete Townshend, Rod Stewart and Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer. |

JakeS - Apart from being rock royalty, guitar player Eric Clapton is also known to be a complete nut for Ferraris. His recently commissioned custom 458 has become somewhat of a news item. If you are financing used car, you might want to stay away from costly Ferraris.
