Eric Clapton has been lying pretty low since his last album, 2010's Clapton, and the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival collection. His spokeswoman tells us he's "vacationing with the family at the moment... He's always fiddling around, but no albums this year."

His only announced project is Eric Clapton Six String Stories: The Crossroads Auction Guitars 1999-2011, a signed, limited-edition book aimed at raising money for his Crossroads rehab facility on the Caribbean island of Antigua. It's being published by high-end U.K. publisher Genesis Publications, but no word yet on when.
