JIMMY BUFFETT: Taking It Down a Notch
Jimmy Buffett usually plays amphitheaters or arenas, so you know it's special when he takes it into a small theater. On October 18th he and his Coral Reefer Band will hit the stage at the Fillmore in San Francisco for a benefit for his Singing for Change foundation, which he launched in 1995.
Singing for Change offers competitive grants to progressive, community-based, non-profit organizations that address the root causes of social and environmental problems. A dollar from every concert ticket Buffett sells goes to the foundation. Since its inception, Singing for Change has doled out almost $7 million in grants.
