Elton John says he is very competitive.

Elton John wasn't messing around when he and tennis great Billie Jean King staged their annual World Team Tennis Smash Hits Tuesday night, this time in Pittsburgh. Even though the event benefited his AIDS Foundation and the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force, Elton says when he takes the court, his goal is to win. "I don't see the point in doing anything in life with half measures. I mean when I was a drug addict, I did as many drugs as I could."

Joining him and Billie Jean were tennis greats Andre Agassi, his wife Stefanie Graf and Andy Roddick.

Elton is now back to doing what he does best -- performing -- as he starts a run of seven more shows Thursday night in Las Vegas as part of his Million Dollar Piano residency.
