LED ZEPPELIN: Something Is Brewing
Led Zeppelin has posted something on their Facebook page as rumors continue regarding the release of their 2007 reunion concert.
With rumors swirling that Led Zeppelin's 2007 reunion concert in London is headed to DVD this fall comes two postings in two days on the band's Facebook page. Friday's simple "hello" was followed on Saturday by the word "Five" written in the traditional Zeppelin script. So what does it mean? It has been five years since the reunion show; drummer Jason Bonham is the fifth member of the line-up; November 5th is a Monday and releases in Europe are on Monday as opposed to Tuesday in the U.S.; their first three albums were 1, 2 and 3 and their fourth is referred to as 4; or perhaps it will be a five-disc set.
One clue may have been offered by Jimmy Page's manager, Peter Mensch, who alluded to the upcoming release in a tweet on Saturday, writing, "it's almost here. I've seen it and heard it. almost 5 years to the day."
In 2010, Jason Bonham told us, "I really do hope that eventually it will see the light of day. It's just nice to know that Robert [Plant] had seen it...and said, 'It sounded great!'" They did 16 songs over two hours that night at the O2 Arena, their fourth performance since John Bonham's death in 1980 and first public show in 19 years.
