BILLY JOEL: Perhaps if He Came Down Just a Little More...

Billy Joel has taken his oceanfront home in the ritzy Hamptons enclave on Long Island, New York off the market. There apparently were no takers at $16.75 million, down from $22.5 million. His agent at The Corcoran Group says it is no longer for sale because of "personal use."

Joel bought the home from actor Roy Scheider in 2004 for $19 million for his third wife, Katie Lee. They split in 2009 and the house has been sitting empty on its two-point-four acres ever since. It has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, four fireplaces and various decks and porches with water views. It was completely renovated in 2009 by designer Nate Berkus.
