KISS: No Space Ace Here

Ace Frehley may have the nickname of "Space Ace," but despite the fact that he has done many stupid things, he says he possesses a high IQ, adding that it's higher than his former KISS bandmate Paul Stanley.

"A frontman [like Stanley] doesn't have to be a genius," says Frehley, "He just has to have the right moves." Frehley says he found out his IQ was 163 when all the members of KISS took an IQ test.
