Speaking His Mind.

Ted Nugent has once again exercised his right to freedom of speech. The topic this time out was the Texas Republican party's adoption of a platform that significantly liberalizes its stance on immigration. On Saturday, during a show in the state capital of Austin, the Lone Star State resident said, "There's an American Dream. There's no French dream. There's no Cuban dream. There's no Spanish dream. Is there a Mexican dream, except 'Get the [hell] out of Mexico?' I can't blame you."

Nugent is on a run of solo dates in between shows with Styx and REO Speedwagon on the Midwest Rock n' Roll Express tour. Next up is Mankato, Minnesota tomorrow night, and the next date with Styx and REO is June 19th in Wichita, Kansas.
