The members of Toto are said to be dissatisfied with the recent settlement of a class-action suit against the major record labels over digital royalties. Billboard reports Sony is trying to dismiss the band's suit, which centers over whether licensing of their recordings to digital retailers such as iTunes constitutes a lease, which brings a royalty rate three-times higher than a traditional sale. |
