ROLLING STONES: Lots of "Start" to Come |
|
Get ready to hear The Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" on your TV a lot the next two months. The band has licensed the song to Omega, the official time keeper for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, for an ad that debuted on Friday. Getting the song for the ad wasn't cheap -- it's rumored to have cost the company more than $500,000. "Start Me Up" has been used in two other major ad campaigns -- Microsoft's Windows 95 and for Ford in 2003. |
