THE WHO: You Better You Bet They'll Be There |

The Who have signed on to perform at the closing ceremony of the Summer Olympics in London on August 12th. Joining them will be George Michael and boy band Take That. But despite the wishes of event organizers, original Who drummer Keith Moon will still not be there. In May, it was revealed that they'd written to The Who's manager asking if Moon, who died in 1978, could take part. Paul McCartney, who was with Moon the night before he died, will perform at the opening ceremony on July 27th. Source: Mirror (U.K.) |
