He's posted a photo of the inking in action on his website with the caption, "So very autobiographic." It's tough to tell what the tattoo is from the angle of the photo, but it appears it could be a snake or a dragon.

Van Halen was scheduled to tour Japan in November, but had to cancel after Eddie Van Halen had surgery for diverticulitis, an inflammation and infection of the intestines.
