Testing...Testing...

AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" has been used by British engineers to test out a laser system which can improve data transmission from unmanned drones. Engineers in Newport, England are working on the laser reflector, which will allow more data to be beamed back to the drone's base. The laser will also eliminate the need for heavy radio equipment, which will make the drone lighter and able to travel farther without refueling.

Scientist Yoann Thueux [pr: th-YOU] thought that "Highway to Hell" was a great choice of data to stream on the laser. He says, "It was on my iPod and I thought it would be a good song to go first because I know it completely by heart. I'd be the first to tell if the technology was not working properly on playback."
