BEATLES: Upcoming DVD Documentary Focuses on Apple Years |

The Beatles were clearly the greatest band of the '60s -- but probably not the best businessmen. Coming April 24th, the DVD documentary Strange Fruit: The Beatles' Apple Records looks at the utopian artistic collective they tried to build. Featuring new interviews with members of Badfinger, Elephant's Memory, Jackie Lomax, Brute Force and David Peel, plus several authors and historians, the film also promises archival footage from the Apple vaults. A preview of the DVD has been posted on YouTube. |
