THE BEATLES: With a Little Help from New Friends

Artist Peter Blake has recreated his most famous work -- the celebrity-strewn cover of The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band album. Instead of Bob Dylan, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando and James Dean, it has been updated with photos of Eric Clapton, Elton John, the late Amy Winehouse, Noel Gallagher, Elvis Costello, author J.K. Rowling, Paul Weller, actress Helen Mirren and many others.

Blake reworked the cover in celebration of his 80th birthday, saying, "I've chosen people I admire, great people and some who are dear friends. I had a very long-list of people who I wanted to go in but couldn't fit everyone in -- I think that shows how strong British culture and its legacy of the last six decades is."

Paul McCartney is still in the shot along with two of his daughters, photographer Mary and fashion designer Stella.
