YARDBIRDS: Then There Was One

The Yardbirds will be back in the U.S. for more dates next month, but they'll only have one original member in tow -- drummer Jim McCarty. He says, "Guitarist Chris Dreja is recuperating at home after a recent illness and regrets that he won't be able to be a part of this short tour.

The Yardbirds, who gave rise to Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, start their East Coast run on February 1st in Buffalo, New York with seven shows through February 7th in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Vanilla Fudge will open five of the dates.
