Third Time The Charm?

Richie Sambora is releasing his third solo album.

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora is done with his third solo album, Aftermath of the Lowdown, and will release it on September 18th. The first single, “Every Road Leads Home to You,” is streaming now on his website.

Sambora pulls no punches on the album, writing about many of the ups and downs he has experienced in the last 10 years -- divorce, rehab, the death of his father. He says, “[It’s] stuff that’s cathartic for me to get out. Really things that could happen to anybody, but I just happened to be in a band with the biggest concert tour in the world, and in the glare of the public eye.” His previous two releases were 1991’s Stranger in This Town and 1998’s Undiscovered Soul.
