DONOVAN: Planning U.S. Shows in October

Donovan tells us that he plans to announce concerts in five major American cities shortly after he's inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14th and that the dates will be in October. In addition, he'll make two U.S. festival appearances this summer -- one closing Faerieworlds on Mount Pisgah in Eugene, Oregon on July 29th, the other at a jazz festival, where he'll perform as a duo with an upright bassist.

Donovan says he's pleased about his upcoming induction "because it focuses a very strong searchlight" on his work, and he's always "interested in young generations picking up on" him, because he feels there's so much in it for them.
