FLEETWOOD MAC: Tribute Album Coming

Another Fleetwood Mac tribute album appears to be in the works. A press release touting the upcoming solo album by Trixie Whitley reveals that she's just cut a song for the Fleetwood Mac project with producer Joe Henry. She'll also be appearing on Marianne Faithfull's contribution. Whitley is daughter of the late Chris Whitley and co-fronts the group Black Dub with Daniel Lanois. None of the other artists have been announced yet.

Fleetwood Mac's Rumours was the subject of the 1998 tribute album Legacy, which featured Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, Elton John, Tori Amos and others.
