TED NUGENT: Did a Kidney Stone Make Him Do It?

Ted Nugent says a kidney stone may have led to him blowing up at a CBS TV reporter last week during an interview for the CBS Morning Show. Reporter Jeff Glor said Presidential Republican candidate Mitt Romney needs the moderate vote and that Nugent, a Romney supporter, is not a moderate. That didn't sit well with Nugent who went off, saying, "Call me when you meet someone who does [more charity work] than I do! Because that's really moderate. You know what that is? That's extreme! I'm an extremely loving, passionate man and people who investigate me honestly, without the baggage of political correctness, ascertain the conclusion that I'm a damned nice guy... and if you can find a screening process more powerful than that, I'll suck your [penis]." He then turned to the segment's female producer and yelled, "Or I'll [have intercourse with] you. How's that sound?"

Afterwards, his wife, Shermane, made him apologize to the producer. Nugent then called Glor to tell him that shortly after the interview he was rushed to the hospital because of a kidney stone and perhaps that led to his outburst.

Nugent also addressed his disappointment at being kicked off the bill of the Midwest Rock 'n Roll Express tour with Styx and REO Speedwagon when it plays Fort Knox in Kentucky on June 23rd due to negative comments he made about President Obama. "I was really let down that political correctness has any role at all in the military," says Nugent. The Express tour pulls into the Red Rocks Amphitheatre just outside Denver tomorrow night.
