Turrible Ted Talks!

TED NUGENT: Now What Did He Say?

The Democratic National Committee is upset with Ted Nugent for comments he made about President Obama over the weekend in St. Louis at a gathering of the National Rifle Association.

He said the Obama administration is "wiping its [butt] with the Constitution..." He also suggested that NRA members might consider decapitation over voting in the coming elections, urging them to "ride into the battlefield and chop [Democrats'] heads off in November." As a result, the DNC is demanding that Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney condemn Nugent for his comments. Nugent has endorsed Romney.

DNC chair Debbie Wasserman says, "Romney's surrogates should know better than to rally the troops with outrageous rhetoric that is unacceptable in our political debate. Mitt Romney must condemn Nugent's violent and hateful rhetoric immediately, as it has no place in our political discourse or this campaign."

Oh, and for good measure, Nugent said, "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year."
